How To Order

If you see something you like on my sales pages then drop an e-mail to info@arcadeuk.com with details of what you are looking to buy and where in the world you are so I can get back to you with a postage price.

Do you sell to international customers?

Yes, I can ship to most places in the world. Please take into consideration that prices to ship outside of the UK can be very expensive. Europe is not so bad but places like the USA are rediculously expensive. If you live in the USA I would not recommend buying from the UK, the postage price will be rediculously high in pound sterling, when you convert that into dollars that almost doubles the price for you guys.

If you are an international customer you may want to consider buying multiple items in one go. Lets assume you want to buy one pcb. The price might be say £20 for postage. Now for every adittional pcb you add to your order the postage price may only go up by £1 - £2 so it makes your order much more cost effective if you buy at least two items in one go.

How do you post UK orders?

Due to yet more Royal Mail postage price increases, the gap between the price of Royal Mail's unreliable service and a decent next day courier has reduced alot. For smaller items it may only cost an extra £1-£2 to use an insured courier. For larger items couriers often work out cheaper. I can use courier or Royal mail at your choice.

How Do I pay?

Payment MUST be in UK pound sterling, this is the only curency I can accept

1) Cash - You can collect and pay cash or you can post cash. If you want to post cash then you must make sure you send it insured so it doesn't go missing

2) Personal Cheque

3) Postal Order

4) Paypal - In some cases I will allow paypal payment, you MUST however have a fully verified Paypal account at the very least. I will not under any circumstances accept payment from un-verified users. Extra charges for using Paypal may apply.

5) Bank Transfer - This is my prefered method as it is the easiest for me. You can pay the money into my bank account in one of 4 ways i) Go into your bank and request a transfer ii) Go into a branch of my bank and pay cash into my account iii) Use telephone banking to make the payment iv) Use online banking to make the payment. There are no extra charges to pay this way.

6) Nochex - You can pay money into my Nochex account. I do much prefere this over paypal

7) Credit Card / Debit Card - I can accept these payments through Nochex Credit card processsing service. I have to pay a fee to use this, however it is great as you do not have to be a Nochex member to use the service.

8) Western Union - There will be an additional charge for this as it takes me over an hour to get to my local WU collection point and back and I find all the paperwork involved a hassle.

Is there a gaurantee?

Anything I sell as working IS working and will be fully tested right before it is packed up for posting. If you are coming to collect the item in person then that is the best way as you can see the item working and give it a good test yourself to make sure you are 100% happy.

It is absolutly impossible to offer a gaurantee on arcade parts. The average age of parts I sell is 20 years old with some games being up to 30 years old. If you went to a second hand shop or a car boot sale and bought a 30 year old TV you wouldn't be able to bring it back a month later and get your money back if something went wrong.

20 year old electronics do break, thats a fact of life, if you are unable to accept this then you should not even think about purchasing any arcade equipment.

Like I say all items will be either collected by you in person in full working condition or will be sent out to you in working condition fully tested before it is sent out. If something should go wrong with your purchase then send me an e-mail explaining the problem, I will get back to you with advice on how to repair the problem, I will help you out with the probelm to get it resolved.

I've had only 3 cases so far where a game has gone wrong after a short space of time, 2 of those people were polite and e-mailed me asking for help, which of course I did. The other person was very abusive and expected me to send him a new item for free. Guess how much help he got from me after his abusive e-mail?
